The Ride Back Home

The Ride Back Home

It was long but oh so beautiful that ride home. Faye and I decided to head up route 395 in Eastern California, considered the most scenic highway in the U.S.
Here we are, a day in Yosemite. We experienced all the climates and temperatures of this deep, solid granite valley from on top, the Tuolumne Meadow to down in the valley at Yosemite falls.
The local Native Americans called Yosemite “Awani,” valley of gaping. Our mouths were certainly agape in this gaping valley. Winding our way up to and through Yosemite in the Western Sierras was a dream come true. Thanks Faye for helping to make it happen.
